Vinyl Decking

Vinyl Decking Membranes! An ideal solution for decks, flat roofs, and concrete patios. Our high-quality membranes not only provide reliable protection but also add style and durability to your space.

Vinyl Decking is a tough, economical waterproof membrane option that looks great! These decks are not only durable and attractive but also elevate your property. With such a coating, your meeting and relaxation area will become even more comfortable. Nothing defines luxurious private outdoor living space quite like flat roof decking. If you're discussing deck materials, you can't go wrong with vinyl!

There are two 'common' modern types of waterproof vinyl decking membranes widely used today. Both are constructed from PVC (Polyvinyl chloride) and are commonly referred to as 'fluffy or fuzzy back' vinyl and 'slick or smooth back' vinyl, describing the appearance of what you see on the back of the vinyl membrane sheeting. Most, if not all, Fuzzy back vinyl decking is non-reinforced, whereas most Smooth back vinyl decking is reinforced in the core. There is also a 'scrim back' vinyl, or what appears to be mesh-backed vinyl, but its purpose is to ensure solvent-based glues stick to the vinyl and doesn't really offer tear resistance or product strength integrity. Most quality vinyl membranes range in thickness from 48 mil to 68 mil.

Types of Vinyl Decking Flashings

 PVC Flashing

"Introducing our PVC Flashing - a vital component in our projects that enhances both durability and aesthetic appeal. Crafted from heavy-gauge galvanized metal, this vinyl-coated perimeter drip edge flashing shares the same resilient vinyl material as our decking membrane. Why choose our PVC Flashing?Thicker and Sturdier:

PVC Flashing

Our choice of heavy-gauge metal ensures that the flashing remains robust, preventing 'rippling' from expansion and contraction in varying temperatures.Flush and Seamless: The increased thickness allows us to recess the flashing into the plywood, creating a seamless integration without 'build-up' areas. This meticulous approach ensures efficient water drainage, preventing pooling and debris accumulation along the deck edge after rainfalls.Welded Strength: The vinyl coating enables us to weld the vinyl membrane to the flashing, offering a superior alternative to gluing. This method not only provides exceptional strength but also eliminates the need for plastic retention clips.Aesthetic Versatility: With four exposed face flashing color choices, our clients can personalize their outdoor space to match fascia boards, house trims, or vinyl selections. This unique feature arises from our process of not running the vinyl membrane down the horizontal face of the flashing. Our PVC Flashing is the perfect solution for your outdoor space, offering two professional installation options

Option 1: Elevate the aesthetics with four unique color choices - white, gray, beige, and black - for vinyl termination at the deck edge, seamlessly achieved through welding.

Option 2: Experience superior design with vinyl-welded-down flashing, eliminating the need for PVC clips.

L-trim Flashing

The L-trim is a powder coated aluminum trim that is used to mechanically attach the vinyl membrane to the deck.  A sticky butyl tape is glued on the back of the plank, consisting of a 100% solid sealant with high elasticity, the composition is designed specifically to protect against moisture and bad weather.  After that, the aluminum L-trim is screwed along the entire perimete.

 L-trim Flashing

This gives the deck a subtle, elegant look, one of the great benefits of this flushing is that it mounts to the end .  On the surface along the edge there are no hills that prevent water from draining from the deck.  The second advantage of this is that it allows you to install vinyl over the fascia to any length down and secure with L trim.  This product gives you good quality, sophisticated look, and water resistance at a mid-range price point.

Galvanized Flashing & PVC Clip

Introducing the ideal synergy of galvanized flashing and PVC clip, creating a seamless outside perimeter drip edge detail system. Our galvanized flashing is meticulously installed to the substrate before the vinyl membrane installation. The membrane is then continuously wrapped over the deck edge and securely fastened using a PVC terminating clip.

Recessed Seam  No Bump

Regular overlapping seams

Recessed Seam - No BumpRecessed/Flush overlapping seams are hot air welded together, similar to regular seams, and are overlapped by the required 1". However, they are inverted into the plywood decking, eliminating any noticeable bump. These refined procedures and 100% reliable techniques often render seams difficult to detect, particularly with specific vinyl colors, resulting in a vinyl deck surface that appears more natural overall.

T-seam Has Bump

The T-seam is an innovative welding technique that incorporates three vinyl sheets simultaneously, ensuring efficient material usage and resource savings. This seam, designed to optimize material consumption, adds visual expressiveness, as the T-shaped welding point meets three sheets, making the seam higher than regular welded connections. The popularity of the T-seam lies not only in material economy but also in the visual effect it creates. Additionally, this seam boasts 100% waterproof integrity, providing reliable protection for your space against moisture.
